Earlier this month, our friends at Avionte held their annual CONNECT conference, and like all events these days, it was entirely virtual. And truthfully, they nailed it. We were proud to be Platinum Sponsors of this event, and were excited to see what happened with their all online agenda. With a compelling agenda filled with everything from thought leadership presentations to user-centric help sessions, virtual ‘booths’ that attendees visited live to chat with partners, and fun virtual activities like scavenger hunts and video competitions, CONNECT really had it all.
We were fortunate to meet so many attendees in our booth who had come by off a session led by Sense Co-Founder Pankaj Jindal, ‘How Automated Communication and Engagement with Sense Drives Results.’ With Sense available for AvionteBOLD and Avionte Classic, firms were eager to learn more about the capabilities and ROI that Sense offers. After three days of ‘booth duty,’ our team was in agreement - this virtual format lent itself to engaging conversations and valuable connections, even if it was technically via Zoom, and two of our colleagues had their power out in a tropical storm. (One was listening to Karl's keynote in a closet!)
But that’s not all. Some of the best connections made at in-person events take place after the day’s sessions are done, and Avionte CONNECT recreated that too. In what was a personal (and probably industry) first, Sense sponsored CONNECT’s virtual dueling piano show that included a live stream of two piano pros taking requests live and delighting everyone who attended with rousing renditions of anything and everything the audience asked for (including Spice Girls and Queen Elsa). We even had mini-Sense family members asking for requests asking "how does the man on TV know what song I asked for?!" If you want engagement in a virtual age, this is how you do it.
While Sense won the Silver in the CONNECT Academy Awards (and we were a liiiittle bummed about that) we asbolutely had a blast this CONNECT. While we certainly are looking forward to in-person conferences returning in the future, we were proud to be part of a virtual event that fostered real connections and made a lasting impression on everyone who was part of it!
